The river is home to a variety of fish species, including resident Cutthroat, Char, and Rainbow Trout, as well as a seasonal run of Winter Steelhead between January and April. The highlight of the fly fishing season begins in early summer when sea-run Bull Trout, some reaching impressive sizes, enter the river to feast on salmon fry.
